About Us

Owner Susy Hall RN, founded the home health agency in 1994, with the vision of utilizing her personal core values in a non-bureaucratic environment in the delivery of home health care. Providing home care with the commitment to quality and compassion are the cornerstone of Need A Nurse Inc.  We proudly serve members of our community who are disabled, chronically ill, or physically/cognitively impaired, pediatrics through geriatrics, who may need assistance to remain in their homes.  We value diversity and unique contributions all have to offer-fostering a trusting open relationship with all of our clients, staff and business community, making a difference in the lives of others.  We are a privately, locally owned home health care agency providing services to Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, Gibson and Spencer counties in Indiana. Services are provided seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We operate under a complete case management system. Quality of care and achievement of patient goals are enhanced with this approach. This company’s philosophy is aimed at meeting community needs. We continually seek new ways and means of responding to changing needs in the community and are committed to providing high quality health care that is essential to the improvement of physical, mental and social conditions.  We subscribe to the concept of health defined by the World Health Organizatiom.  A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, gender, religion, political belief, economic, or social condition.  To this end, we are committed to providing a high quality of health care essential to the improvement of physical, mental and social conditions in the community.  Recognizing the interdependence of health services in the community, we are obligated to cooperative efforts with other sources for the betterment of health care systems. We continually seek new ways and means of being responsible to the ever-changing community health needs. We also believe in the value of consumer participation in planning and implementing broader service programs. An adjunct to this concept is the essential role of evaluation of the agency services and applied research improving these services.  Furthermore, we respect the autonomy of the patient and family to make the decisions and choices affecting their present and future health status.
